Getting a Hospitality Job
Whatever your experience in your own country in hospitality or another related industry you will have to consider the mandatory training that is required to work in hospitality venues around Australia.
You may well have to attend a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and an Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) course depending on the State you visit. Prior to getting a job, you will be required to have completed these courses before starting work!
Contact us to find out the requirements of the State you wish to visit.
Many jobs are provided in the industry, both for those who enjoy travelling the world and for those who consider the hospitality industry as their chosen profession.
Here are some examples of jobs that may interest you as you travel around our great country:
- Bar attendant
- Bar back or Bar Useful

Many of these positions are available on a 'casual' basis, ie your hours of work may vary from one week to another, which may suit your lifestyle. Given that the hospitality industry works at night and on weekends, to get as many shifts as you want you must be prepared to work when the work is there!
You'll make friends from all around the world, adapt to working in another country and get those great opportunities that only travel will bring.
