Who is This OH&S Course for?

Occupational health and safety (OH&S) is about ensuring safe and healthy working conditions, and preventing illness and injury in the workplace.

This ACADEMY certificate course is for those who wish to pursue a career in OH&S. It is ideal for those responsible for OH&S in their workplace and need the skills and qualification required to carry out their duties.

It is also ideal for those who wish to become an accredited trainers and assessors with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and or WorkCover NSW, human resource (HR) practitioners, safety officers or OH&S officers.

  • Contribute to the Implementation of a Systematic approach to Managing OHS
  • Contribute to the Implementation of the OHS Consultation process
  • Identify Hazards & Assess OHS Risks
  • Contribute to the Implementation of strategies to control OHS Risks
  • Contribute to the Implementation of Emergency Procedures
  • Assist with Compliance with OHS and other relevant laws
  • Identify risk and apply risk management processes
  • Monitor a Safe Workplace
  • Use Equipment to Conduct Workplace Monitoring
